Thanking Brookline voters

To the Editor:

I would like to thank everyone who voted for me in the recent town election.

I look forward to serving town residents as a library trustee for the next three years. The library has much to offer Brookliners, and I welcome the opportunity to assist the other members of the library board and the staff in their mission.

More than half of the town’s residents have a library card, and so directly benefit from the books, downloadable audios, films, eBooks, museum passes, etc., which the library has acquired for the use of all townspeople. If you haven’t been to the library lately, please drop by or check out the website to see all that’s available.

I would also like to thank the voters for approving the warrant article for the repair of the Annex. The Annex is vital to the library’s operation and to our Friends group. By voting to approve the repairs, you have helped insure the continuance of several of our programs and our success.
