Beaver Brook Association extends thanks for wonderful festival

To the Editor:

With a giant thank you to Mother Nature for providing some of the best weather of the season for its 35th annual Fall Festival & Art Show the weekend of Sept. 26-27, Beaver Brook Association extends its deep appreciation to these others:

To our event sponsors, BAE Systems, McLane Middleton, Lumbard & Kellner, Markel and Ameriprise, thank you for the financial support that enabled us to again this year offer free admission to this wonderful event.

To the artists whose works represented incredible talent across all media, thank you for making this annual art show among the finest in the area.

To the over 100 volunteers who participated in the planning and staffing of the event, thank you for making it even possible to hold an event of this size.

To the musicians, educators and exhibitors, thank you for ensuring that there was something of interest for people of all ages.

To Re/Max for providing their hot air balloon for tethered rides and to the nine Hollis Brookline High School football players who helped with its inflation, thank you for helping to finish Saturday on a high note.

To the Beaver Brook staff, thank you for your work behind the scenes in addition to serving as Beaver Brook’s ambassadors.

And finally to the over 2,300 visitors who made their way to Beaver Brook’s Maple Hill Farm to enjoy the flora, fauna, food, festivities and fun, thank you for making Beaver Brook’s Fall Festival & Art Show a tremendous success.
