Junior Bulldogs registration

The Bedford Junior Bulldogs Youth Football organization is accepting registrations for the 2016 fall season. The Bedford Jr. Bulldogs Pop Warner Youth Football Program (ages 5-12) is the only age and weight restricted football program in the town of Bedford. Kids compete with kids of similar age and size. The focus is on safety and providing a positive learning experience. All coaches, team moms, the football coordinator and president are USA Heads Up certified.

The Bulldogs Jr. High program (grades 6-8) participates in the NE Junior High Football League. Players will have an opportunity to play on the JV and/or Varsity team with unlimited weight levels, preparing them for the high school level. All coaches are USA Football Heads Up certified.

Kids in the Pop Warner Spirit Program (ages 5-15) have an opportunity to perform in an organized, supervised & safety-oriented environment, creating a fun atmosphere while encouraging the development of all participants in an effort to keep pace with the many new changes in the cheer & dance industry.

This year, the Bulldogs are offering a Challenger Cheer Program (ages 5-15) to Bedford and surrounding towns for children who are currently enrolled in school with physical or intellectual disabilities. While emphasizing participation and teamwork through practice and competitions, our goal is to build self esteem and have fun. For more information & to register, see and

Barracudas swim team registration

Registration for the summer 2016 Bedford Barracudas Swim Team will be held on Tuesday, May 3, from 6:30-7:30 p.m. at the McKelvie Intermediate School Cafeteria, 108 Liberty Hill Road, Bedford, N.H.

Returning and new swimmers must register in-person on one of these dates – no mail-in or online registrations will be accepted. Please bring completed registration forms (one registration form and conduct clause per swimmer and one volunteer form per family) and payment in cash or check made out to "BST." The cost is $120 for each swimmer in a family.

New swimmers will be placed in a lottery, so each new family has an equal chance of obtaining a place on the team. Numbers will be given out at registration and families will be notified of their placement no later than May 15. There is an equal chance of getting spots on the team regardless of when a family registers.

The BST Registration and Open House provides a "one-stop shop" for registration, ordering team apparel, learning about sponsorship opportunities, and the required Parent Meet Job commitment. Please visit the team’s website at for registration forms and complete team details, or email
