Bulldog Blast on Saturday

The 2017 AYF/AYC Bulldog Blast will be held on Saturday from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.

The Blast, which will be held at the Puritan Backroom in Manchester, will feature a buffet dinner at 7:30, dancing, a cash bar, and a silent auction. This event will serve as one of our major fundraisers for this upcoming season. Tickets will not be sold at the door, so please visit the website to purchase tickets and support the Bulldogs organization while having a fun night out. The Bulldog Blast is a 21-plus event.

If you have items for the silent auction, or if you have any questions, please contact fundraising@bedfordbulldogs.org.

A majority of the proceeds from this event will go towards the purchase of new uniforms due to the merge, and will match last year’s uniform, preserving last year’s investment. For more info or to purchase tickets: http://www.bedfordbulldogs.org/blast.

Bedford softball now 9-4

In Bedford, the Bulldogs Katie Martin pitched a four-hitter and Erin Murphy and Jacque Harrington had home runs as the Bulldogs beat the Tomahawks 13-1 at Bedford’s Selvoski Field.

Harrington went 4 for 4, had five RBIs and played a solid shortstop, robbing Merrimack’s leadoff batter Blades, of a base hit in the sixth.

Murphy’s homer in the fourth plated three. Hannah Thompson had a two-RBI double in the fifth and knocked in the game ending run in the sixth.
