Souhegan’s Eli Moskowitz won the 2014 Meet of Champions hosted by Nashua South. Moskowitz finished the race in 15:32.4 and was the lone Souhegan runner in the event.

Alvirne placed third as a team with 150 points, thanks in large part to three runners in the top 25. Kendall Westhoff had the top results for the Broncos, a time of 16:16.9 good enough for 13th place.

Noah Bellomo (16:24.8) and Phillip Demers (16:25.6 ) finished in 23rd and 24th respectively for the Broncos. Other top local runners consisted of Bishop Guertin’s Christopher Fischer (32nd place in 16:39.5), Nashua South’s Mitch King (33rd place in 16:41.2), Hollis Brookline’s Cameron Jackson (37th place in 16:45.8), and Nashua North’s Connor Muise (42nd place in 16:49.7). Host Nashua South finished in 11th place as a team with 285 points, while North finished in 12th with 297 points. Pinkerton took first with 67 points.


Oyster River’s Maegan Doody won the 2014 Meet of Champions hosted by Nashua South with a time of 17:51.2. Bishop Guertin took second place as a team with 121 points, thanks in large part to having five runners finish within the top 35.

Chloe Conway was the top Bishop Guertin runner, as she placed 15th with a time of 19:00.9. Heidi Ntengeri was 22nd in 19:09.7, while Gabrielle Dionne finished in 26th in a time of 19:19.6. Jessica Ewing was 29th in 19:30.5, and Gabby Richardson was 35th with a 19:37.5.

Just outside the top 50 for Bishop Guertin were Ellie Goyette (53rd in 20:02.1) and Danielle Poublon (57th in 20:09.9).

Souhegan finished sixth in the event as a team, with 228 points. Top runners for the Sabers included Madeleine Hunt (11th place in 18:49.5), Shannon Earley (49th in 19:55.7), Hannah Gillis (56th in 20:08.8), Elise Lambert (61st in 20:17.6), Hannah Culver (85th in 20:53.0), Kate Bermingham (89th in 20:57.3), and Emily Ehrenstein (119th in 21:48.5).

Other top local runners consisted of Merrimack’s Bailey Carrillo (28th in 19:25.9) and Sarah House (38th in 19:41.6). Hollis Brookline’s Sarah Crampton was 34th in 19:36.5.
