Milford romps past Pelham
Milford hit the road and found its way back into the win column after a tough Week 3 home loss to Souhegan.
The Spartans victim: winless Pelham.
With a pair of first-quarter touchdowns, one coming after its defense forced and recovered a fumble, Milford charged out to a 13-0 lead and never looked back in a 27-6 win ove the Pythons.
The Spartans added another touchdown in the second quarter for a 20-6 halftime lead, and then closed out the scoring with a fourth-quarter touchdown.
The host’s only score came on a 3-yard run in the second quarter.
That was about all the offense Pelham (0-3) could muster against Milford’s unrelenting defense, which finished with five sacks.
Milford went with a run-heavy offense that paid off, controlling the tempo and scoreboard throughout as Mark Madigan and Bryce Walker finished with two touchdowns each.
