Amherst’s Ford serves as Bentley football captain

Souhegan grad and Bentley University punter Tyler Ford, of Amherst, served as a captain during Bentley’s 41-22 vic­tory over Merrimack College Friday.

The senior’s career average of 40.4 yards is best in school and NE-10 con­ference history, and ranks sixth among active Division II punters.

Milford’s Banuskevich recognized by conference

Milford graduate and Plymouth State sophomore Mitch Banuskevich was named to the MASCAC Weekly Honor Roll after PSU 27-19 win over Western Connecticut State. Banuskevich ran for 78 yards on 15 carries and caught three passes for 48 yards.

Rich Nagy Memorial Run

The first annual Rich Nagy Memo­rial Scholarship run will take place at Hollis Brookline High School on Sunday, Sept. 25 at 10 a.m. The run/walk is non-competitive and will be timed by Lancer Timing. T-shirts will be provid­ed to the first 100 entrants.
