The Hollis Brookline JV football team beat Monadnock 8-6 to improve to 3-0 on the season. Scoring a touchdown for HB was Matt Caponigro. Jack Byrne, Peter Bertone and Mike Buxbaum turned in outstanding games defensively.

Souhegan’s ski
and skate sale
The Souhegan High School boys hockey team will host its annual Ski and Skate Sale from 6:30-9 p.m. on Oct. 18, and from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. on Oct. 19 in the cafeteria at Souhegan High School. Consignment items can be dropped off from 5:30-6:30 p.m. on Oct. 18 and 7:30-8:30 a.m. Oct. 19.
New and used items will be available for purchase; available items may include cross country skis, downhill skis, snowboards, boots, poles, skates, roller blades, hockey equipment and winter apparel.
