BASKETBALL
Cavs camp
The Hollis Brookline High School boys basketball program will offer the eighth Cavaliers Summer Basketball Skills Academy for boys entering grades 4-9. The camp will take place at HBHS July 20-24 from 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m.
The camp will be staffed by current and former HB varsity players and coaches. The theme of this year’s camp is preparation – when opportunity comes, it is too late to prepare. Space will be limited to the first hundred campers to register. Forms can be found on the athletic page of the HBHS web site. Bring your basketball shoes, a snack with plenty of water, a bagged lunch (grades 7-9), and a strong desire to learn.
TENNIS
Summer camp
Hollis summer tennis camp will return for a third year, with Florida Tennis Professional Greg Reardon serving as the instructor. The class will be offered at the Hollis Town courts for two weeks, and will be for players ages 7-15 for all levels, from introduction to advanced. It is a group lesson format and approved by Hollis Parks and Recreation. For more information, go to www.planettennisusa.com, or call Greg at 727-542-9636.
