HB football takes tough setback
Already ahead 14-7 with 8 minutes to play, John Stark kicker Jackson Easter booted a 35-yard field goal to go ahead by two scores on the way to a Generals’ 17-14 win over Hollis Brookline (1-4) in Hollis.
Wyatt Farwell rushed for a Hollis Brookline touchdown on the ensuing Cavaliers drive, but the Generals (2-3) defense stiffened the rest of the way for the win.
Goffstown 3, Hollis Brookline 2
The Cavaliers took a one-goal advantage into halftime, but a pair of second half goals by Goffstown sent Hollis Brookline to their third straight loss on Oct. 2.
Cam Tulley and Jonathan Brackett each scored for the Cavs, with Brackett also adding an assist.
Nick Wood made five saves in net for Hollis Brookline (1-7-1).

The Cavs’ Hunter Adams had the best chance of the game in the second overtime when he shot just wide. Nick Wood earned his second shutout of the season with four saves. Hollis is now 1-7-2.

The Cavaliers were shocked at home, dropping only their second game this season. Goffstown, meanwhile, earned their first victory of the year
on Oct. 2.
Hollis Brookline managed to put 18 shots on net, but Goffstown keeper Kerstan Daneau continually kept the Cavs off the board. Olivia
Clegghorn was just as good for Hollis, stopping six shots.

It came down to the wire, but the Cavaliers managed to pull off their second straight win. Game scores were 23-25, 25-23, 25-21, 9-25 and 15-
13 on Oct. 2.
Maddy Blake led the way for Hollis Brookline (7-3) with 12 kills. Sierra Dinman and Lex Chilton combined for five aces, and Kaitlyn Johnson
added a pair of blocks.

The Cavaliers recorded a 25-5, 25-19, 25-16 sweep to move to 8-3 on the year on Oct. 5. Kaitlyn Johnson (nine kills, three blocks), Maddy Blake
(three aces), Maddie Norris (four kills) and Kristi Fox (three aces) all led the way. The Blue Hawks dropped to 6-5.
