MYA fall ball, elections

Online registration is now open for MYA Girls fall softball. The season will be starting up in a few short weeks so sign up now so the formation of teams can begin. Also, the MYA Girls Softball annual elections will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 2, at the MYA Building at 7 p.m. Potential volunteers should send email to director@myasoftball.com.

Youth elections

Merrimack Youth Baseball will hold open elections for the upcoming board of directors. The election will be held on Thursday, Sept. 4 at 7:30 p.m. at the MYA Building at 487 Daniel Webster Highway in Merrimack. Open positions include three vice presidents, treasurer, financial secretary and two league player representatives. All are for two-year terms. ASC accepting registrations

The Amherst Soccer Club is accepting registrations for Tots (ages 3-5) and EDP (ages 6-10) fall soccer programs. Both programs are open to players from outside Amherst. There are also limited openings on the Hampshire FC/Hampshire United SC Boys and Girls U10-U14 fall soccer teams. Merrimack coaching positions

Merrimack High School is seeking a head coach for freshmen boys soccer and a girls basketball assistant coach. Candidates should have playing and/or coaching experience. COACHES

Volunteers needed for basketball program

The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Nashua is seeking volunteer coaches for the club’s basketball program. The club offers a variety of volunteer coaching position, including coaches for the year-round Youth AAU Basketball Program. The fall season will begin in early September and run through November. The club will be hosting AAU tryouts for grades 6-7 on Sept. 8 and 10 at 6 p.m. and will be looking for a head coach and assistant coach for this grade level. AAU tryouts for grades 8-9 will be held on Sept. 9 and 11 at 7 p.m.

Assistant coach are needed for this grade level. The club is also looking for coaches for the intramural basketball leagues for ages 8-12 and teens.
