The Tomahawks fell to 4-10 on the season despite the efforts of Steve Sexton, who played strong in the loss.

Dena Noiseux was outstanding for Merrimack in the win, as she netted a hat trick and added an assist to lead her team to victory.
Lauren Dubois added the fourth Merrimack goal and had an assist of her own, while Rachel Mack added another two assists. Keara Venne, Abby Smith, and Kelly Eno were strong on defense.
Merrimack’s hot streak continues, as they have now won five of their last seven games.

Hannah Provencher’s goal, assisted by Rachel Mack, was all the Tomahawks (6-8-1) would need to get their sixth in in their last eight games.
Abby Smith, Kelly Eno, Lauren Dubois and Sara Wozniak played well defensively for the locals.
Oct. 16: Merrimack 3, Concord 0
Game scores in the Merrimack sweep were 25-15, 25-13, 25-12. Jen Coffey had a strong game with four blocks, eight digs, and 18 kills.
Jo Coffey added six aces, two blocks, nine digs, five kills, and 35 assists.
Lianna Klinger had 10 digs and Elise Jolly had three aces, two blocks, 11 digs, and eight kills.
Oct. 20: Merrimack 3, Exeter 1
The unbeaten (16-0) Tomahawks got 50 assists from Jo Coffey en route to a 25-18, 25-15, 24-26, 25-15 win. Coffey also had seven aces, two blocks and 13 digs while her sister Jen had 24 kills, 28 digs, two aces and six blocks.
Also playing well for Merrimack were Caitlyn Paulson (11 digs), Elise Jolly (four aces, three blocks, 17 digs, 18 kills), Katie Flynn (three aces, six digs and six kills) and Lianna Klinger (18 digs).
Oct. 22: Merrimack 3, Londonderry 0
The Tomahawks improved to 17-0 on the season by beating the Lancers in three games, 25-13, 25-18 and 25-13.
Jen Coffey led Merrkmack with 19 kills, 10 digs and two blocks, as she set a school-record for career kills, breaking the mark of 850 set by Bridget O’Bryant. Jo Coffey added 31 assists – 19 away from the school record of 1,225 – and added seven aces, while Elise Jolly had 10 digs and nine kills and Caitlyn Poulson chipped in with six digs.
