Milford Turkey Chase
The Milford High School boys and girls track teams will hold the fifth Turkey Chase 5K at 10 a.m. on Nov. 22, starting at the Milford Middle School.
Cost is $20 per adult runner or walker and $15 for anyone under 19. All proceeds benefit the high school track teams. For more information, contact Coach Wright at 661-8180 or email@example.com, or register at g2racereg.webconnex.com/turkey5k2014.
There will be a free lacrosse clinic at the Hampshire Dome in Milford from 10 a.m.-noon on Nov. 29 for girls in grades 2-8. To register, go to www.GSE-Sports.com.
Milford Middle School is looking for a B-team boys basketball coach and an Alpine ski coach. Spartans searching for coaches
The Milford School District has openings for the following positions: assistant alpine ski coach, available Nov. 24 with a TBD stipend; freshman boys basketball coach, available Dec. 1 with a stipend of $1,537; and boys tennis coach, available March 23 with a stipend of $1,976. The school will provide training to candidates. Knowledge of first aid and CPR required with help finding the appropriate courses to qualify.
