Merrimack heads to Mass.

The Merrimack Youth Wrestling Program sent seven wrestlers to compete in the Red Devil Rumble Wrestling Tournament held at Burlington High School in Burlington, Mass. on Sunday. Individual results were as follows:

Cayden Dine, first grade, lost his first match by pin but won his last two matches, one by pin and one by points, to finish on the podium in second place.

Rhys Dewar and Kael McAloon, both kindergartners, each wrestled in their first tournament finishing in third place and fourth place respectively. Dewar won one of his matches by pin. McAloon lost a one of the most competitive matches of the day in overtime 15-17.

Jackson Meehan, first grade, won one match by pin in a very competitive bracket to eventually finish in third place.

Mitchell Krupp, second grade; Hunter Adams, fifth grade; and Anson Dewar, sixth grade, also competed in the tournament.

Hampshire FC & Hampshire United SC is now accepting registrations for its Tots thru U19 winter soccer skill training at the Hampshire Dome in Milford.
