All-star roster released
Over a dozen football players from Greater Nashua were selected Wednesday to participate in the fourth CHaD East-West NH High School All-Star Football Game in June.
Eight schools from the area will be represented at the all-star game, which will be held at Saint Anselm College on June 27, with kickoff scheduled for 7 p.m.
Leading the way was Bishop Guertin, which placed three players – Kyle Cushion, Kelvin Rivera and Drew Sanborn – on the West team. Nashua North and Nashua South had two players each make the roster, with Myles Cassin-Reed and Matt Lavallee of North and Jesse Clauss and Josh Perry of South, also on the West team.
Also making the West roster are Travis Hughes and Nick Skinner of Milford; George LaPage and Tyler Howard of Souhegan; and Stephen Gage of Merrimack.
The West team will be coached by Milford’s Keith Jones, who also coached the West in the first game. Joining his staff will be Bruce Borne, Adam Bozza, Steve Burnsi, Paul Drone, Paul Johnson, Trevor Palladino, John Triciani and Rick Urda.
Two players were named to the East team – which will be coached by Laconia’s Craig Kozens – as Alvirne’s Jack Mahoney and Campbell’s Kevin Moreau were named to the roster.
