Wrestlers do well in tourney

The Merrimack Youth Wrestling Program had six wrestlers take home medals at the Chelmsford (Mass.) Youth Wrestling Tournament held at Chelmsford High School.

First grader Cayden Dine rolled through his bracket winning three matches, two via pin, to bring home first-place honors.

Second grader Ivey Johnson recorded her first pin of the season en route to a second-place showing.

Sixth grader Anson Dewar won two matches before dropping a heartbreaking one point loss in the finals, netting him a second-place finish.

Also, kindergartener Kael McAloon finished in third while fellow kindergartner Collin Schuster finished fourth. Finally, third grader Mitchell Krupp wrestled well in the select bracket to bring home a fourth-place medal.
