Merrimack competes at New Englands
The Merrimack Youth Wrestling Program sent nine wrestlers to compete in the New England Rebel Classic Wrestling Tournament, for wrestlers in kindergarten-eighth grade, held at Pinkerton Academy. Aiden Hanning capped his stellar season by pinning two opponents and winning a decision against the third en route to a first-place crown.
First-grade standout Cayden Dine also took home the gold. He won a major decision against his first opponent, pinned his second and then bested his third foe in a thrilling championship final where Dine threw a five-point move in the waning seconds to win the match by four.
Kindergartners Collin Schuster and Kael McAloon took home third-place and fourth place-medals, respectively. Other competitors included Jackson Meehan, Ivey Johnson, Owen Forrest, Mitchell Krupp and Anson Dewar.

Souhegan in need of coaches
Souhegan High School is looking for applicants for freshman baseball coaches. The position commences with the start of practice on March 23. If interested in either position, send a letter of interest and a resume to Dick Miller, Athletic Director, at email@example.com.
Souhegan is also seeking a varsity football defensive coordinator. Qualified candidates will have five or more years of high school varsity football coaching experience (or higher level). Candidate must possess the availability to support all in-season and off-season activities. Duties include but are not limited to: implementation of the defensive philosophy of the head coach, design of weekly defensive practice format, weekly game planning process, authoring scout reports and scout cards, data entry and film analysis, position coaching duties, weight room supervision, staff meeting attendance, etc. Please send coaching resume and note of interest to firstname.lastname@example.org.

Junior high league seeking new players
The Northeast Junior High Football League (NJHFL) is currently accepting new members for the 2015 season. The NJHFL offers three distinct levels of football and cheerleading for those athletes in grades two through eight. The league also holds its own cheer competition that is open both to league members and non-members. The NJHFL has 13 organizations, representing 29 teams from southern New Hampshire and northeastern Massachusetts.
