LACROSSE CAMP SUCCESS

High school wins alumni game in OT

The Merrimack High School boys lacrosse coaching staff hosted its first youth lacrosse camp this past week at Reeds Ferry with 34 town residents attending. The ages ranged from 7-15 with both new and veteran players. Also helping out were many of the current high school players, who helped coached the youth in the areas of stick skills and game play.

The camp culminated at the week’s end with the program’s annual alumni game, which was also played at Reeds Ferry due to the work being done on the high school track. The high school team took the win in the game, 12-11, in overtime and now hold a 2-1 lead in the series.
