On Monday, May 21, the Bedford Police Department responded to the area of Tirrell Road and Old Sawmill Road for several reports of thefts from motor vehicles.

The reported thefts occurred during the overnight hours. Homeowners reported that their vehicles had been rummaged through, and numerous items had been stolen.

The Bedford Police Department is asking that residents lock their vehicles at night and remove all valuables.
