Ride 2 Recovery Honor Ride New Hampshire is set for Saturday, May 30.

Goodale’s Bike Shop is hosting a Ride 2 Recovery Honor Ride starting at 9 a.m. and departing from historic Holman Stadium in Nashua.

Ride 2 Recovery is a national nonprofit organization that improves the physical and mental wellness of our disabled veterans, by using bicycling as a means of rehabilitation.

Goal is 500 riders

The goal is to host 500 cyclists on May 30 to participate in a 10-, 30- or 50-mile recreational ride through scenic southern New Hampshire.

More than onw million veterans have been injured while serving in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Together, participants can raise $50,000 to start a Project Hero Program in New Hampshire.
