MILFORD – New Hampshire Antique Co-op is pleased to present Celebrating Summer: An Exhibition of Coastal & Floral Paintings, a fine art show and sale of more than 50 original works featuring summery seascapes, coastal and beach scenes, and floral still lifes.

Featured artists from the 19th century to the present include Emil Carlsen, Frederick Judd Waugh, Wesley Webber, James Edward Buttersworth, Antonio Jacobsen, Dorothea Litzinger, Frederick McDuff, Herman Dudley Murphy, Stanley Woodward, Max Weyl, Allen Tucker, Anthony Thieme and many more. Also included are contemporary New England artists Stephen Motyka, Erik Koeppel, William Davis, David Dodge, Carol Robey and others.

A summer afternoon reception will be held from 1-3 p.m. Aug. 5 in the upstairs gallery at New Hampshire Antique Co-op. Sip a cold glass of lemonade and sample a few sweet treats while you soak up the view of bright and beautiful coastal and floral scenery interpreted by the broad and eclectic range of artists included in the show.

Wake up your senses and enliven your artistic vision this summer with a visit to Celebrating Summer: An Exhibition of Coastal & Floral Paintings. The exhibit and sale is on view in the Tower Gallery at New Hampshire Antique Co-op from Saturday through Sept. 30.

The Co-op is a destination shop for fine art, period furniture, porcelain, silver, collectibles, jewelry and more. It is one of the largest group antique shops in the state and was established in 1983 by the Hackler family. The shop features more than 200 dealers and was named “Best of New England 2018” by Yankee Magazine and “Best of New Hampshire” by New Hampshire Magazine. New Hampshire Antique Co-op is located 1.5 miles west of the Milford Oval at 323 Elm St. in Milford.
