Board OKs vape detectors

WILTON – At their regular meeting on March 5, the Wilton-Lyndeborough Cooperative School Board authorized Middle/High School Principal Brian Bagley to continue investigating the installation of “vape” detectors in the school.

Speaking at the district meeting on March 9, Board Chairman Harry Dailey said there was no reason to delay a vote until a new board has been elected, and said there are no funds authorized at this time for the detectors.

In other business on March 5, the board held first readings of policies on safety programs, accident reports, a staff dress code, and school board member stipends. All of the policies will be discussed at future meetings.
