PENELOPE

It’s me, sweet Penelope! I’m a 3-year-old kitty who came in because my owners could no longer care for me. I had some dental issues, but I’ve had some work done here and feel much better. My teeth will need to be monitored, but I’m so sweet, you’ll quickly see that I’m worth it! I’m a lap cat, and don’t even mind being brushed and held. I would make a great family pet, and can live with other cats and kids, too. Come meet me today – I’m the petite girl with the gorgeous mane hanging out in the Girls Suite!

BAILEY

Hi, I’m Bailey! I’m a sweet boy looking for a dog-experienced owner who will help me work on my confidence and be the best dog I can be. I might even like living with another canine companion who could teach me a thing or two, as well. I take a little time to warm up in new surroundings, but once I’m comfortable, you’ll see that I’m a sweet boy and a loyal companion for life. My ideal home would be with adults only without too much activity. If you have room in your heart and home for a dog that just needs someone to give him love and patience, than I’m your guy!

The Humane Society for Greater Nashua is at 24 Ferry Road, Nashua. Hours are noon-5 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. For more information, visit www.hsfn.org, call 889-2275 or email hsfn@hsfn.org.

SNOWFLAKE

Snowflake is an exquisite 5-year-old domestic shorthair. She weighs 10 pounds. Her sea-green eyes will penetrate your heart and soul. She is snow white, but proudly flaunts a dramatic crown of smoky gray fur. Snowflake’s story is heart-wrenching. She was devastated when she and her brother unexpectedly lost their home just weeks after their beloved elderly guardian died. Snowflake is a spirited, yet calm, princess. She loves to play with her toy mice and will happily entertain herself. She is independent, but also very affectionate and loves attention. Snowflake is submissive with other cats. She may enjoy another compatible feline companion. We are not sure if she is dog-savvy. She is litter-box trained.

ARNNE cats must be kept indoors. Cats are altered, current on vaccinations, microchipped, on flea/tick prevention, and are FELV/FIV negative, unless noted otherwise. Hours are by appointment only. For more information, visit www.arnne.org, email info@arnne.org or call 233-4801. Meet our adoptable pets at our monthly Pet Adoption Day at the Pelham Congregational Church, 3 Main St. The next one is 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Nov. 23.
