Tech Inc., a precision plastic manufacturing firm, is reaping the benefits of investing in energy efficient equipment in its Merrimack facility.

Tech Inc. recently installed an energy-efficient 400-ton electric plastic injection molding machine.

The machine qualified for a $65,264 rebate under the NH Saves @ Work New Equipment & Construction Rebate program.

“This new equipment will allow us to save energy while delivering cost savings that will aid our business,” said Richard Grosky, the firm’s chief executive officer.

The NH Saves @ Work New Equipment & Construction Rebate program provides commercial and industrial customers with the rebates and technical assistance needed to install energy-efficient equipment.

“The goal of this program is to help customers lower their energy costs while also improving their work environment and increasing profitability,” PSNH account executive Phil Boivin said.
