Merrimack student’s group accepted into American Recorder Society
MANCHESTER – The Manchester Community Music School announced its New Hampshire Recorder Consort has been accepted into the American Recorder Society.
The group was formed by three students: Carol Sander, a cello student from Merrimack; Kathryn Dallaire, a vocal student from Chester; and Kathryn Lane, a piano student from Goffstown.
The three adult students met at an adult recital and discovered that in addition to their individual instruments, they all also played the recorder. With a little help from an MCMS staff member, the group was formed.
