MERRIMACK – The town of Merrimack has organized a candlelight ceremony to recognize the 15th anniversary of 9/11.

The ceremony will be held at Abbie Griffin Park at 7 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 11. Town Council Chairman Nancy Harrington will serve as master of ceremonies. Many Merrimack groups will be participating, including Merrimack Police Department, Merrimack Fire and Rescue Department, Merrimack Concert Association, VFW Post 8641, American Legion Post 98, and Merrimack Girl and Boy Scouts.

Candles will be provided for all who attend. The entire community is invited to participate in this commemorative event.
