Josephine (Cavallaro) Dean, 72, of Bedford, NH, passed away peacefully on February 22, 2011. She was the daughter of the late Joseph Cavallaro and Mary (Agnello) Cavallaro.

Josephine graduated from Lawrence High School. She also graduated from Boston University and Emerson College in Boston. She worked as a customer service supervisor for International Paper in Montvale, NJ until her retirement. Josephine belonged to the Bedford Senior Citizens and the Bedford Italian Club. She enjoyed knitting, gardening and socializing with her friends and family. Most of all she loved to spend her summers at her family beach home in Salisbury Beach, MA. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be dearly missed by all who loved her.

Josephine is survived by her three children, Maria Curran and husband Bill of Bedford, NH, Howard Cobb Dean and wife Kim of Rochelle Park, New Jersey, Cheryl Criscuolo and husband Steven of Pauleys Island, SC, her brother Salvatore Cavallaro and wife Patricia of Cromwell, CT, three grandchildren, Christopher Dean, Erin Curran, William S. Curran, a great-grandson James Dean, two nieces Donna (Cavallaro) Friend and Nicole Cavallaro and many cousins.

ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends may call on Thursday February 24, 2011 from 3:30pm to 7:30pm at the Cataudella Funeral Home 126 Pleasant Valley St. Methuen. A funeral mass will be held at Corpus Christi Parish in Holy Rosary Church on Friday February 25, 2011 at 10:00am.

Burial will be at St. Mary’s Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lawrence.
