Dion E. Vath II, 42, resident of Pelham, NH died September 14, 2010 at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon, NH.

He was born in Nashua, NH on May 20, 1968, a son of Dion E. Vath Sr. and Sarah A.E. (Quigley) Vath of Milford, NH.

Dion resided in Milford for more than 20 years and formerly lived in Nashua for many years.

He attended Spring Street School and graduated from Mt. Hope School, Class of 1988, Nashua. Dion also attended the Day Program at Opportunity Networks, Nashua and enjoyed special activities with the PLUS Program, Nashua.

Dion enjoyed bowling, fishing and going for walks. His favorite color was red, he loved animals, going to the car wash and his trips to McDonald’s. In addition, he liked watching Night Riders and listening to the Beach Boys.

He will be remembered for his kind heart and always wanting to be helpful. We love you Dion and will miss you forever.

Dion was predeceased by a brother, Dana Vath.

In addition to his parents, family members include a sister and brother-in-law, Diane Vath Whaley and James Eric Whaley of Deering, NH; a special nephew, Jeremy Vath; two nieces, Brittany and Tiffany Whaley; his paternal grandfather, Harold J. Vath Jr. of Londonderry, VT; his caregivers, Mary and Dennis Greenwood of Pelham, NH with whom he lived with for the past 10 years; many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visiting hours were held on Saturday, September 18th from 9:00-10:30 am in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford, followed by a graveside service in Riverside Cemetery, Nashua Street, Milford, at 11:00 am.
