Cecile A. Cullinan

Cecile A. Cullinan, 91, resident of Milford, NH, died February 15, 2011 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Bromptonville, Quebec, Canada on September 9, 1919, a daughter of Philippe and Rose (DeCelles) Bergeron. She immigrated to the United States in 1924 and made her home in Milford for the past 86 years.

Mrs. Cullinan had been employed by Kenmore Stamp Company, Milford, for many years and in her earlier years, had worked for Goldman Mill.

She enjoyed music, dancing, singing, gardening, crocheting, crossword puzzles and keeping the cookie jar full. She was an avid Boston Red Sox and Celtics fan.

Mrs. Cullinan was a member of the Bent Burke Post #10, American Legion Auxiliary, Wilton, NH.

She was a communicant of St. Patrick’s Church, Milford and one of the original volunteers of the clothing barn.

Mrs. Cullinan was a devoted mother, a loving grandmother and great-grandmother.

She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph T. Cullinan, who died in 1998, a son, Pierre Cullinan, a grandson, John Cullinan and 15 brothers and sisters.

Family members include four sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Ruthanne Cullinan, Daniel Cullinan, Gary and Lee Cullinan, Steven and Maureen Cullinan; two daughters and sons-in-law, Joleen and David Carleton, Christine and Dennis Field; 14 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial visiting hours are next Friday, February 25th from 2-4 & 6-8 pm in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford. A memorial mass will be celebrated on Saturday, February 26th at 10:00 am in Sacred Heart Church, 47 Maple Street, Wilton, NH. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Milford, at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Share Outreach, Inc., 1 Columbus Avenue, Milford, NH 03055. Arrangements are in the care of Smith & Heald Funeral Home, Milford.
