Marilyn P. Ercoline

PETERBOROUGH, NH – Marilyn P. Ercoline passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on June 13, 2011.

Born October 26, 1936 in Waltham, MA, Marilyn was raised in Lyndeborough, NH, where she had fond memories of attending the one-room schoolhouse.

She graduated from Milford High School in 1954 and from Burdett College in Boston in 1956.

She married Thomas A. Ercoline in 1957, and they raised their two sons in Ipswich, MA, spending summers at the camp Marilyn’s grandfather had built on Sunset Lake in Greenfield, NH. They moved to Peterborough in 1990.

Marilyn is survived by son, Putnam J. Ercoline, his wife Lisa Luedeke and their daughter, Lily Ercoline of Greenfield; son, Thomas A. Ercoline III, his wife Monica, and their daughters, Lorena and Ariana of Milford; a sister-in-law, Diane McManus of Deluth, GA; and many loving cousins and friends. Her husband, Tom, died in 2009.

There will be an informal gathering to celebrate her life on July 9th from 2:00-5:00 pm at their Sunset Lake residence.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Marilyn’s name to Monadnock Community Hospital, 452 Old Street Road, Peterborough, NH 03458 or to the Oncology Department at the hospital. Arrangements are in the care of Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford, NH.
