Maurice Berube Jr., 74, of Village Rest Home, Leominster, MA, died Sept. 16, 2011. He was born Oct. 31, 1937 in Fitchburg, MA, where he was also raised and educated. He was the son of the late Maurice and Marguerite Berube.

His passion was building model cars and drawing. He was employed at the plastics factory in Leominster, MA.

Maurice was a veteran of the Navy and served from 1955 to 1961.

He is survived by four sons and two daughters, Mike Berube, David Berube, Daniel Berube, Dickie Berube, Michele Wills and Maureen Paquet. He is also survived by a brother, Roger Berube, Puntagando, FL, and sisters, Carol Pavolatis, Milford, NH, and Sandra Boutilier, Alton, NH.

There are no calling hours. Service will be at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery Chapel, Winchendon, MA, on Thursday morning, Sept. 22.
