Gene Edwards Mallows, 49 died February 21, 2012 in Palm Harbor, Florida where he had lived for the last 8 years. Gene was stricken with a rare form of cancer and passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his three beloved daughters, his soul mate, and eldest brother.

Gene was born in Nashua, NH on August 3, 1962, he was the son of Allen Mallows Jr. and Elaine (Gibbons) Mallows. He resided in Wilton NH in his youth, where he attended the Wilton school system. He also played sports including mostly football in the Pop Warner League.

Gene was presently employed at L&N Label Co. Inc in Clearwater, Fl. as the General Manager. He started his career at Label Art Co. in Wilton, NH and moved around the country to perfect and keep on the cutting edge of the printing industry. He received many awards for his expertise in flexographic printing and later became an annual judge for the Flexographic Technical Association.

When not perfecting his craft, Gene spent his time on his boat “Obsession”, exploring Florida’s inter-coastal waters and offshore fishing. He cherished any time he could spend with family and friends, sharing his love of boating and fishing.

Gene will forever be remembered by his soul mate and mother of his children, Deirdre Deschenes, his daughters Kassie Deschenes, Kallie and Katie Mallows. His parents Allen and Elaine Mallows, brothers Duane and his wife Teri Mallows, David and his wife Dawn Mallows and Jon and his wife Kathe Mallows. His nephews Mason and Marcus Mallows, and many family members and friends.

Gene was predeceased by his grandparents Bernard M. and Gabriel Gibbons Sr., Allen and Annette Mallows Sr., a brother Kevin A. Mallows, and other family members.

Memorial calling hours will be Friday, March 2, 2012 in the Michaud Funeral Home 32 Maple Street, Wilton, NH from 4-8 PM.

A celebration of Gene’s life will be celebrated by Father Wilfred Deschamps on Saturday March 3, 2012 at 11:00AM in the Michaud Funeral Home Chapel. A Private committal service will be in the Mount Calvary Cemetery in Wilton, NH.
