Kathryn Bond

TEMPLE, NH – It is with great sadness that after a long battle with cancer, Kathryn Bond of Temple, N.H., passed away on February 17th, 2018. She was surrounded by her devoted husband, David, her two daughters, Molly and Samantha, and a cuddlebug puppy, Newton. Just what she had wished for.

Kathi was a loving daughter, mother, sister, and wife who was passionate about her family, hiking adventures and the great outdoors. As an environmental science teacher for over 35 years, she brought this passion into the classroom and, in doing so, changed the lives of many.

We would like to thank so many of you for your continuous support and the genuine care you showed to Kathi and her family. Cards, visits, phone calls, MMRF runs and an inspirational evening with the BeTheMatch donor drive back in April, were so appreciated and will be forever remembered. In lieu of flowers, foods and gifts, we hope to create a memorial scholarship for a student entering the fields of education or environmental science. She would have loved this idea! We ask that you reach out to David, Molly or Samantha if you are interested in contributing. A celebration of life will be held this upcoming week. Please check Kathi’s page on Caring Bridge (caringbridge.org/visit/kathib) for more details. Arrangements are in the care of Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford, NH.
