Daniel Valluzzi

Daniel Valluzzi, 75, of Milford, NH and a former longtime resident of Merrimack, NH died May 12, 2018 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack.

He was born in New York, NY on January 1, 1943, a son of the late Daniel and Dorothy (Huber) Valluzzi. He was a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University, Teaneck, NJ.

Dan had resided in NY and NJ before moving to Merrimack in 1975. He had been employed as a State Court Consultant for the National Center for State Courts. Following retirement, he worked for Cirtronics in Milford.

He was a veteran of the US Air Force serving from 1963-1967.

He was an avid sports fan, coached for many years in the MYA and was a fixture on the sidelines at his grandkids sporting events.

In addition to his parents, he was pre-deceased by a brother, Wayne Valluzzi.

Members of his family include his wife Virginia “Ginny” (McHenry) Valluzzi of Milford; three sons, Daniel Valluzzi and his wife Kendra, James Valluzzi and his wife Kelly, and Jeffrey Valluzzi and his fiancé Ali Keller all of Merrimack; eight grandchildren, Jacob, Domenic, Kayla, Caroline, Julia, Emma, Matthew, and Christopher; two brothers, Kenneth Valluzzi of NJ and Phillip Valluzzi of NY; a sister, Donna Smith of AL and several nieces and nephews.

Calling Hours will be held at the Rivet Funeral Home, 425 Daniel Webster Highway Merrimack on Thursday May 17, 2018 from 5-8pm. Funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Friday May 18th at 10 am. Following cremation, burial will be in the NH Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen at a later date.
