Frank H. ‘Butch’ Goding Jr.

Frank H. “Butch” Goding, Jr., 71, resident of Milford, NH died on September 13, 2018 at his home.

He was born in Nashua, NH on February 25, 1947, a son of the late Frank H. Goding, Sr. and Ann (Heaps) Goding. A longtime resident of Milford, he also lived in Nashua, Lyndeborough and Greenville, NH.

Butch had been employed by Hitchiner Manufacturing Company in Milford for many years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and was known as a grill master. He was an avid Patriots fan and enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Butch was a U.S. Army veteran having served over seas during the Vietnam War.

He was predeceased by two sisters, Barbara Guay and Donna Theodore; two brothers, William Goding and Joseph Goding.

Family members include his wife, Mala Powers-Goding of Milford; two sons and daughters-in-law, Doug and Lisa Goding of Huntington MA, Michael and Emily Goding of Nashua, NH; two daughters and a son-in-law, Keli Hill of Milford, NH, Jennifer and Anthony Miller of Weare, NH and seven grandchildren. Brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert “Bob”& Terry Goding, John and Linda Goding, and Bruce and Tammy Goding. Also, three sisters, Eleanor and John Bealand, Marion Foucher and Norma and Richard Hart.

SERVICES: In accordance with Butch’s wishes, there will no formal services held. A celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Giorgios Restaurant, 524 Nashua Street, Milford, NH. A time of sharing and words from the family will be at 4:30 PM. All are invited to come and share memories and stories with Butch’s family.
