William Stewart, 62, died October 26, 2011 at the Community Hospice House, Merrimack, N.H. Son of Robert and Mary (Silver) Stewart of Brookline, NH, Wife of 40 years, Susan (Drury) Stewart of Merrimack, son, Travis, his wife Angela and grandson Kallen Stewart of Merrimack, NH. Survived by his brother Robert Stewart of Lynnfield, MA, sister Barbara Maylin of Brookline, NH and predeceased by his brother Bruce Stewart. Born on November 15, 1948 in Nashua, NH. Raised in Brookline, NH. Resident of Merrimack for last 35 years.

Survived in Vietnam 1968-1969 with the U.S. Army, 1st Calvary Air Mobile 5th of the 7th Infantry. Receipent of two Bronze Stars.

Member of the VFW Post 8641, Merrimack, NH and the American Legion of Milford, NH.

Interests included golf, skiing, fishing, hunting and pool.

Work History: Commercial, residential construction and later years self-employed.

Services: Gathering of Friends and Family at 12:00 and Celebration of Life Service at 1:00 PM on October 30, at Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover St., Manchester, NH.
