Robert James Walker

Robert James Walker 73, “Brother Walker” died on Wed 12/21/2011 finally surrendering in his 15 year battle with cancer. He was born on February 24, 1938 to Robert James Walker and Mary Allen Walker.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years Vivian Arita (Sharpe) of Nashua, his six children and their spouses Robin Y. Jones and her husband William Jones of Hemit CA, Dawn Elysse Fellmer her husband Peter Fellmer of Las Vegas, Brian Mikel Walker his wife Maribel Walker of Winter Park FL, Angela Lucianda Walker Stewart her husband Kevin Stewart Jr of Murrieta CA, Michele Walker-Adams and her husband Mark Adams of Nashua and Jeanine SW Page and her husband Joel N Page of Nashua; his eight grandchildren Shauna Walker-Dorch, Blake Forris Walker, Christina E Stewart, Kevin W Stewart II, Brittany B Stewart, Isaac W Jones, Jayvan Christopher Page, Kathryn Michele Page and his great grandson Elijah Myles Campbell; as well as his four siblings Beatrice Brown, Joyce Spencer, Janet Small and Dr. John A Walker; He was predeceased by his sister Sylvia Walker and grandson Micah E Walker-Dorch.

Bob served in the New York City Fire Department for twenty years, where he retired as a Lieutenant. He relocated to Nashua in 1984, where he owned and operated Bob Walker’s Painting and Odd jobs for twelve years. Upon retiring he spent most of his time in the volunteer ministry for Jehovah’s Witness.

Many people will remember Bob for his zeal in the ministry and love of Jehovah. He worked tirelessly to spend time teaching others about Jehovah’s Kingdom. He was described by many as zealous, exuberant, sweet and comforting. He was a minister to all and a surrogate father to many.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday January 7, 2012 four o’clock at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses 282 Broad St, Hollis, NH. 03049. Calling hours will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness on Friday January 6, 2012 from 4pm to 7pm. An online obituary can be seen at www.csnh.com.
