Ann Carol (Espejo) Libby, 78 of Nashua, NH died Wednesday March 7, 2012 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH.

She was born April 30, 1933 in New York City, NY daughter of the late Joseph and Stasia (Noraig) Espejo and widow of Calvin Jacob Libby whom she married on September 1, 1956. Calvin predeceased her on November 29, 1998 and a grandson; Jacob also predeceased her in 2009.

Ann was a graduate of the New England School of Art in Boston, MA. At one time, she worked at the Nashua Arts and Science Center and also at Johnson Creative Arts as an artist in Townsend, MA. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, spending time with her grandchildren, was involved with the INSPIRE Group in Nashua and was extremely involved with the Unitarian Universalist Church and a number of their groups. She was also a longtime member of the NH Art Association.

Survivors include two daughters and son-in-laws, Dorcas “Dory” Lewis and her husband Richard, of Brookline, NH and Melissa Rascoe and her husband Dean, of Brookline, NH; one sister, Barbara Hancsarik, of Nashua, NH; and three grandchildren, Hannah Rascoe, Haley Rascoe and Abby Lewis, all of Brookline, NH.

SERVICES: There are no visiting hours. A Memorial Service will be held at the Unitarian Universalist Church, 58 Lowell St., Nashua, NH 03064 Saturday March 17, 2012 at 11:00 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Burial will be in the Unitarian Universlist Church Cemetery.
