Robert X. Quinn

Brookline, NH – Robert X. Quinn, 61, of Wildwood Drive, died unexpectedly Wednesday, August 26, 2015 , at his residence.

Mr. Quinn was born in New York City, August 4, 1954. a son of the late James and Mary Kraozenska Quinn and had resided in Georgia before moving to Brookline nineteen years ago.

He was a 1972 graduate of CushingAcademy in Ashburnham and then continued his education at Christopher Newport College in Newport News, Virginia where he majored in psychology. He later received his masters degree in computer science and applied mathematics from Worcester State College, in Worcester, Massachusetts.

Mr. Quinn had worked as an adjunct professor at OglethorpeUniversity in Atlanta, Georgia.

For seven years, he served his country in the United States Air Force. He enjoyed gardening, photography, canoeing, hiking, boomerangs, watching reality television, swimming and playing poker.

He leaves his wife of thirty eight years, Sharon A. (Bourassa) Quinn; a daughter, Mary-Elizabeth Xavier Quinn of Boston; three sons, Michael J. Quinn and his wife, Lindsey Leclair Quinn of Warren, NH, Patrick X. Quinn of Manchester, NH, Kevin J. Quinn and his fiance, Juri Arino, of Japan; a grandson, Zachary J. Quinn; a brother and sister-in-law, James and Susi Quinn of Largo, FL; a sister and brother-in-law, Terry and Michael Holler of Cleveland, Tennessee; and several nieces and nephews.

He was the brother of the late Michael J. Quinn.

Funeral services will be held 10 AM Tuesday at St. John’s Church,1 School Street, Townsend. Friends and relatives are kindly requested to meet at church.

Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Brookline, NH.
