BROOKLINE, NH – Mary E. Stewart, 90, resident of Brookline, NH, died on October 10, 2015, at St. Joseph Hospital, Nashua, NH.

She was born in Merrimack, NH, on January 4, 1925, a daughter of Edmund and Lucy (Cyr) Silver.

Mrs. Stewart made her home in Brookline for more than 60 years. She enjoyed reading, golfing, needlepoint and crocheting, and loved vacationing with her family on Prince Edward Island.

For many years she was employed by Sanders Associates, Nashua, NH.

She was predeceased by two sons, Bruce Stewart and Billy Stewart; four brothers; and a sister.

Family members include her loving husband of 73 years, Robert W. Stewart of Brookline; a son, Robert E. Stewart and his wife, Mary, of Lynnfield, MA; a daughter, Barbara Maylin and her husband, Larry, of Brookline, NH; a daughter-in-law, Susan Stewart of Merrimack, NH; 9 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Alice Morton and Dot Benjamin, both of Milford, NH; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are private.
