Gerald J. Walsh of Hollis slipped away peacefully on October 25, 2015 surrounded by loved ones after a long courageous battle with cancer.

Jerry was born on October 2, 1939 in Cambridge, Mass. He is predeceased by his parents, Anna (O’Brien) and Gerald Walsh; and brothers, Thomas and William. Jerry leaves behind his wife of 35 years Patricia; his sisters, Barbara and Catherine; his beloved Godchildren, Danny and Emily; several snephews and nieces; and numerous loved ones and friends. He is also survived by his sons, Gerald and Brian; and his grandchildren, Jennifer, Elizabeth and Victoria.

A proud veteran of the United States Army, Jerry was a 45-year member of the International Brotherhood of Carpenters, Benevolent #7 Masonic Lodge Milford, Scottish Rite Valley of Nashua, Horse Pond Fish and Game Club and served as a member on several town boards and committees over the years.

Jerry’s love for his family, friends and community was unsurpassed. He was a kind hearted man who was dearly loved and will be sorely missed.

A Celebration of Life will be held on November 14, 2015 from Noon til 2 pm at the Lawrence Barn, 28 Depot Road in Hollis, NH. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Hollis Fireman’s Association P.O. Box 38 Hollis, NH 03049.
