Paul S. Moreau

Paul Samuel Moreau 70, passed away on November 4, 2015 following a period of declining health at Hyder Family Hospice House in Dover, NH. He was born February 15, 1945 in Nashua, NH. He was the son of the late Paul Emile Moreau and Doris Verville Moreau. Paul was a resident of South Berwick, ME since 2013 previously residing with his family in Hollis, NH for 39 years. Paul grew up in Nashua, NH graduating from Nashua High School class of 1963. He then went on to enlist in the U.S. Army, serving from 1963-1966. He was employed with Public Service Company of NH for 38 years, retiring in 2004.

Paul was an avid sailor and enjoyed many trips, with his family, cruising the New England coast, as well as, many distant voyages to the Caribbean. He enjoyed woodworking. His most recent project was fulfilling his dream of having a large workshop, which he completed a few years ago. Paul was a lifetime member of Palmer’s Cove Yacht Club in Salem, MA, The American Legion in Somersworth, NH, and former member of The American Legion in Hudson, NH.

Paul was married to Joyce E. (Johnston) Moreau for 45 years. Also, surviving him are his children Jeffrey P. Moreau and his wife Megan of Colorado Springs, CO, and Robyn M. Moreau and her husband Todd C. Dunphy of Holderness, NH. His 4 grandchildren, Tyler J. Moreau and Noah P. Moreau of Colorado Springs, CO, and Owen S. Dunphy and Cameron B. Dunphy of Holderness, NH. His brother Robert D. Moreau and his wife Laurie of Myrtle Beach, SC, brother-
in-law Donald Trombley of Milford, NH, his niece Leah (Prevencher) Bowzard of Summerville, SC and nephews Jarod Moreau of Amherst, NH, Jacod Moreau, and Jonah Moreau both of Manchester, NH. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his sister Michelle Moreau Trombley. Also, several cousins, aunts, an uncle and many wonderful friends.

Paul’s family would like to thank Dr. Barbara Civiello and the oncology staff with the Seacoast Canter Center at Wentworth-
Douglass Hospital in Dover, NH, Wentworth-Douglass Home, Health and Hospice, and Hyder Family Hospice House foe the wonderful care he was given.

SERVICES: Funeral Services were held on Monday November 9, 2015 at 10:00 am in St. Louis de Gonzague Church, 50 West Hollis St., Nashua, NH.
