Richard L. Lund, aged 66, passed peacefully while surrounded by family, after a brief illness on December 18, 2015.

Rick was born in Nashua, NH on October 15, 1949 to the late Lawrence S. and Alva M. (Benjamin) Lund of Hollis, NH.

A Hollis High School graduate, Rick joined the National Guard and became a seaman apprentice in 1971. He enjoyed a long career in sales and manufacturing, and retired from Rivco in 2004.

His hobbies included fishing, a love for British cars, and making homemade brownies to perfection.

Most importantly, Rick loved to spend time with his family during the holidays.

Rick leaves behind his beloved companion Tyson, the most loyal of dogs. He is survived by his two sons, Benjamin Lund and Joshua Lund, Josh’s wife Claire Lund, and Rick’s two grandchildren Sarah and Zach. He also leaves behind two sisters, Cynthia White and Marcia White, along with many nieces, great-nieces and great-nephews. Rick will be deeply missed by family, friends, and Tyson.

SERVICES: No calling hours will be held. The family is planning an interment service to be held at a later date, with all friends and family welcome.
