Nancy A. Pellerin

Nancy A. Pellerin, of Palm Bay, passed away on March 24, 2016 at the Moffitt Cancer Center after a courageous year long battle with cancer with her family at her side. She was born December 20th, 1949 in Dedham, Massachusetts to John and Elizabeth Abbott.

Nancy was an amazing wife, mother, sister, grandmother (MorMor), and friend. She is survived by her loving family, her husband of 47 years, William A. Pellerin, one son, William M. Pellerin and his wife Jennifer, and one daughter Candice M. Reed and her husband Karl. She was predeceased by her son Chase A. Pellerin. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Rebecca, Julia, and Chase Pellerin, and Jacob, Joseph, and John Reed; her siblings Diane Abbott, Jean Legg and husband Douglas, and John Abbott and his wife Bobbi, her sisters-in-law Lucy McDonald and Elaine Durkee; and many nieces and nephews.

She attended the University of New Hampshire where she met her husband Bill. Together they spent the first years of their marriage in the military, traveling around the country. Later they returned to civilian life and settled in Hollis, New Hampshire where the children grew up. During those years Nancy’s focus on life revolved around her family and her home. Thirteen years ago she and Bill moved to Palm Bay to further Bill’s career. It was here in Palm Bay that Nancy found true friendship in the ladies in her neighborhood and she blossomed! Being an avid reader and book lover Nancy volunteered at the local library and became quite accomplished at repairing books.

Nancy had many loves and talents. She was an accomplished musician and shared her music. She was also a very talented quilter and scrapbook artist. We, her family and friends, all benefitted from her many talents in that she shared her gifts with all of us. Nancy loved animals and one could always find an assortment of "critters" in her house; cats, dogs, horses, to name a just few.

Nancy loved her grandchildren and was so proud of their accomplishments. She especially enjoyed quiet, one on one moments with them.

The family will receive friends 6-8 pm on Friday May 6th at the Cournoyer Funeral Home in Jaffrey, New Hampshire.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 7th at 10:00 am at St Patrick’s Church in Jaffrey New Hampshire followed by the burial at the cemetery in Dublin, New Hampshire.
