Kierra Raelynn Walker “KiKi”, 11, of Merrimack, New Hampshire, died unexpectedly Sunday, January 8, 2012 at her home. She was born on August 22, 2000 in Nashua, New Hampshire, the daughter of Kenneth Lynn Walker and Trisha Rae Leavitt.

Kierra was a 6th grade student at James Mastricola Upper Elementary School and an active member of the Merrimack Youth Association where she played basketball and wrestled. Kierra was a very creative and artistic child who loved music and singing. The nature of Kierra’s kindness could be felt by anyone who was blessed enough to know her. She often found joy in rescuing and caring for creatures, both large and small. Although, what Kierra enjoyed most was cuddling & spending time with her family, whom she loved very much.

Kierra is survived by her parents; Kenneth Walker & Trisha Leavitt, her sisters; Erica-Lee Leavitt, Kennisha Walker, Latoya Harris, her brothers; Darious Walker, Trequan Thomas, Lathaniel Walker, her grandmothers; Jeannette Leavitt, Melinda Walker, and Debbie Leavitt, her uncles; Gerard and Jurian Davis, her Aunt Jessica and her husband Mark Chase, her Aunt Terry Lee and Uncle Bobby Goding. Kierra is also survived by several other close family members and friends such as the Peebles and Petroules families. She is predeceased by her grandfather Wayne “Bo” Leavitt.

Family and friends are warmly invited to calling hours from 2-4 and 6-8 at the Michaud Funeral Home on Friday, January 13. A celebration of Kierra’s Life will be held on Sunday, January 15 at 1:00PM in the Michaud Funeral Home Chapel. The family welcomes you to join them at the Lyndeborough Town Hall following the service.
