Milford golf tournament

The Milford High School Football Booster Club will hold its golf tournament on June 27 at Crochet Mountain Golf Club with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. The tournament is a best ball format and will recognize longest drives and balls closest to the pin. There will also be raffle prizes. Cost is $400 for a foursome and includes golf, cart, bagels, donuts and coffee in the morning, a brown bag lunch and a buffet meal at the Pasta Loft in Milford. Souhegan High School is accepting applications for a head varsity girls soccer coach. The ideal candidate will be an energetic and enthusiastic individual with a competitive background as a player or coach, be well organized and responsible, communicate well with high school age individuals, and have an understanding of the role of competitive athletics in the secondary school setting. Duties include oversight of all levels of the program, competition and practice planning, organization and execution, roster and equipment management, fostering the emotional and character development of our student-athletes, supervising the transportation to and from practices and games, and serving as a role model for our students.
