Men’s league looking for players

The Merrimack Men’s Slo-Pitch Softball League is looking for players to fill out rosters for the 2014 season. The league plays on Monday and Wednesday evenings from late April through mid-September at Martel and Twardosky fields in Merrimack. To be eligible to join the league, men must be at least 18 years of age, must not currently be attending high school and must either live or work in Merrimack. The league currently has players that range in age from 18 to 70-plus. Players are placed on league teams through a draft process that takes place in late March. Interested players can contact League President, Tom Boland, at tboland428@aol.com for more information or to get on the list for the March tryout and draft. The tryout and draft have been scheduled for April 5, with a tryout date of April 2 for players who can’t attend.

BASEBALL

NH Baseball League

The New Hampshire Baseball League is seeking players to participate in the 38-plus Division for the 2014 season. The wood-bat league consists of 10 teams with games on Sundays. Players must be 38 or older during the season of play. For more information or to register, go to nhbl40.com.

Spring openings available

Hampshire FC has limited openings on its boys and girls U10-U19 spring soccer teams. The teams are open to players from any town. Hampshire FC is also now accepting registrations for the tots and EDP spring programs.
