Caroline Apgar, of Bedford, was named to the spring 2010 dean’s list at Harding University in Searcy, Ark. She is a junior art therapy major.

University graduating senior Erika Mitchell, of Bedford, a voice major, was recognized at the May 15 convocation for Syracuse University’s College of Visual and Performing Arts with the Anna Freeland Berry Memorial Prize, given to a female undergraduate student who has a high degree of dedication, attainment and promise in voice.
