Madonna Lovett Repeta, of Studio Photography by Madonna in Bedford, completed the 51st annual session of the New England Institute of Professional Photography. The event was held at the Resort and Conference Center at Hyannis, Mass., in early April. Repeta participated in a weeklong course study instructed by Dan Doake and Ella Carlson.

The institute is sponsored by the Professional Photographers Association of New England. NEIPP is the only Professional Photographers of America-affiliate school in the Northeast, where each member of the PPA receives two merits towards a degree with PPA.

Repeta is one merit away from her master’s degree in photography. Repeta has earned a Photographers of the Year Award from the PPA and the Kodak Gallery Award for Photographic Excellence. Her studio has been in Bedford since 1996.
