Animal Rescue League to host annual Evening of Compassion

The Animal Rescue League of New Hampshire will host the eighth annual Evening of Compassion at the Bedford Village Inn on Thursday, May 10. Each year, the League hosts this fundraising dinner, which highlights key accomplishments of the work performed by the League. Last year, the monies raised helped serve 65 communities and more than 2,500 animals that might not have had a second chance.

The Animal Rescue League of New Hampshire is a no-profit organization, incorporated in 1904, with the mission to protect, rescue and adopt animals to the public. The ARL receives no federal, state or United Way funds for support and is solely dependent upon fundraising events and private donations.

The social hour will be from 5:30-6:30 p.m. followed by dinner and a fundraising event from 6:30-9 p.m. Guests will have the opportunity to taste four types of wine, paired with Bedford Village Inn’s award-winning menu.

Tickets are $85 per person and can be purchased by calling Marianne Jones at 472-3647.
